Kohortstorlekens effekt på löneprofiler : En longitudinell studie på Sveriges arbetsmarknad

När efterkrigstidens baby boom trädde in på arbetsmarknaden har det varit allt intressantareatt studera hur olika demografiska grupper påverkar arbetsmarknadsprestationerna för denegna och omringande kohorter. I det här arbetet testas hur de varierande kohorterna från 40-talet till slutet av 60-talet har påverkat löneprofilerna. Datan som används kommer från enlongitudinell databas som täcker tre procent av Sveriges befolkning. Resultatet visar attkohortstorlek har signifikant effekt på de genomsnittliga löneprofilerna. De som är födda i enstor kohort och i en uppgång till en stor kohort kommer ha överlag högre inkomstprofiler ände födda i en nedgång och i en liten kohort.

I denna studie studeras prevention och gastric bypass som alternativa behandlingsmetoder mot fetma sett ur ett samhällsekonomiskt perspektiv. Tre hypotetiska kohorter utvecklas; status quo, effektiv prevention i ungdomsåren samt individer som utvecklar svår fetma opereras med gastric bypass. Dessa kohorter följs under åldern 20-64 år där kostnader och effekter observeras med hjälp av en beslutsträdsmodell.

Olika generationers kunskapslegitimering. En kvalitativ studie om kunskapsöverföring i ett IT-företag

Companies? ability to differentiate themselves from their competitors becomes increasingly difficult when standardized technical solutions are used, which means that the employees become the most important resource. Many workplaces consist of a mix of employees with different backgrounds and of different ages, which highlight the generational perspective. Previous research has long focused on different generational drivers and of motivation at work, but there has been few studies in which the transfer of knowledge between generations have been examined. With that as a background, a qualitative interview study was conducted at a major IT company to investigate how employees legitimize knowledge and how it affects the transfer of knowledge between generations.

The study is based on two questions: What does"honor" mean to the three generations of women who are Muslim and Kurdish? Did these three generations of women?s idea of honor change over time as they have lived in Sweden? Results of this study have shown that the concept of honor has its focus on the woman's body, sexuality and chastity.

The Swedish old-age care will in the near future face an extensive need to recruit enrolled nurses by virtues of the demographical development. The generation born in the 1940s will soon retire, and at the same time the rest of the population is growing older. One thing that becomes more important in how to draw more people to the old-age care, is to understand how the ones who allready work there experience their own worksituation.The purpose of this study was to find out how enrolled nurses from two different generations experienced their own occupational role and make similarities and differences between the two generations experiences visible. The topics of interest in our study are the respondents own thoughts about their education, their worksituation today, what they think of the future and how they believe others regard their work. To fulfill the purpose of our study we used qualitative interviews.

Standardkrig - Komplementföretagens ovissa marknad

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka den pågående striden om nästa generations DVD-format, med särskild fokus på vilken typ av osäkerhet mindre svenska komplementföretag utsätts för i samband med standardkriget och hur de kan positionera strategiskt i förhållande till den. Metod: Uppsatsen har en abduktiv metod och bygger på kvalitativa intervjuer med fallföretag som utgörs av mindre komplementföretag som påverkas av det pågående standardkriget om nästa generations DVD. Vidare baseras studien på litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar inom området standardkrig. Resultat: Studien resulterar i en jämförelse av det befintliga kunskapsläget kring standardkrig med det aktuella standardkriget om nästa generations DVD. Vidare presenteras en modell inklusive exempel på åtgärder för hur mindre komplementföretag kan hantera den osäkerhet som uppstår i och med ett standardkrig..

A segmented market, according to traditional methods, appears increasingly difficult in mature consumer markets. A common explanation is that the mature markets are often characterised by over-supply which results in a great variety of choices for the consumer. Furthermore, the consumer of today has a more complex and flexible purchase behaviour which is difficult to catch. This makes consumer segmentation difficult. International studies indicate that dividing consumers into generation cohorts might be advantageous in understanding consumers of today.

Generations- och ägarskifte i ett fåmansföretag : Hur påverkar de nya lagändringarna ett generations- eller ägarskifte?

Den 1 januari 2014 trädde nya regler för fåmansföretag och dess ägare i kraft.
